Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to 5S standards and safety protocols.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company policies to prevent workplace accidents.
- Verify and record inventory counts, ensuring accurate stock placement and retrieval.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including tagging and labeling packages.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Class I, II, or III) with a valid license or certification.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and operating warehouse management software.
