Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload materials.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain organized stock areas.
- Material Handling: Move, stack, and organize pallets and goods with precision and care.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and clean driving record.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety standards.
