Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within 200,000 sq ft warehouse
- Load/unload trucks and containers using precise pallet positioning techniques
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse management system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets
- Enforce 5S safety protocols throughout all material handling operations
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with 2+ years recent experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) technology
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent spatial awareness and depth perception
- Ability to work nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Valid driver's license with clean record
