Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance on all material handling equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Verify inventory accuracy by cross-referencing shipping and receiving documents.
- Organize warehouse stock to ensure maximum space utilization and easy access.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
