Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to streamline workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (CFP/CFII) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate heavy equipment in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
