Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to designated storage areas accurately.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and utilize RF scanners for real-time tracking.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
