As a Forklift Operator at Prime Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly. We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, physically fit, and committed to upholding our high safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts, stock organization, and maintaining accurate warehouse records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Packaging: Properly package and label goods to ensure they are ready for shipping or storage.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and free of obstructions to ensure optimal flow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional forklift operating experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain precise records.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license (Class B preferred but not strictly required for indoor operation).
