Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility safely.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment is in proper working order.
- Accurately receive, stock, and organize inventory to maintain optimal warehouse flow.
- Ensure all loading and unloading procedures comply with OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate logistics and prevent bottlenecks.
- Report any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (reach truck, cherry picker, or standard forklift preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and twisting/reaching.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
