Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport palletized goods using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any maintenance issues to management immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counting and order fulfillment.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, as needed.
