Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., reach trucks, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently at all times.
- Load, unload, and transport materials between the dock and warehouse storage areas.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment for safety compliance; report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock organization adheres to FIFO/FEFO standards.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including sweeping, organizing, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is required and must be presented at the time of interview.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a significant plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
