Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment using scanners and handheld devices.
- Verify item quantities and descriptions against packing slips to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap) to prevent damage.
- Operate manual and powered pallet jacks, hand trucks, and conveyor systems safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following 5S standards.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information and barcodes.
- Assist in inventory audits and stock replenishment as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours per shift).
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing between 25 and 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic reading and math skills for scanning labels and verifying quantities.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
