Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and yard.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure safety compliance and proper machinery function.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as required.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (certification must be valid and provided at interview).
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and documentation.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
