Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Sit-down, Reach, or Counterbalance) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Perform daily safety inspections of the forklift and work area to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate logs of stock movement using warehouse management systems.
- Stack and organize pallets securely to prevent accidents and optimize warehouse space.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all 5S safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
