Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials safely within the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight trucks efficiently, ensuring accurate inventory placement.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory control processes, including cycle counting and stock verification.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Follow all company protocols regarding hazardous materials and workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long shifts.
- Basic computer skills for logging daily operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
