Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (reach, sit-down, and order picker) safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock counts and labeling.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping and receiving processes.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) or valid license is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and understand inventory labels.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
