Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts and warehouse machinery.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment or delivery.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and understand pick lists.
- Basic computer skills for scanning barcodes and logging data.
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions (warehouses can be hot or cold).
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
