What You'll Do:
As a Forklift Operator at Apex, you will be the backbone of our logistics operations. You will ensure that every pallet is moved safely and efficiently, maintaining our high standards of inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Maintain Safety: Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Inventory Management: accurately scan items, verify stock counts, and update the warehouse management system (WMS) in real-time.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and logistics coordinators to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily productivity quotas.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of obstructions to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing (1+ years preferred).
- License: Valid Driver's License required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Background: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
