Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment according to safety guidelines.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack inventory with precision to prevent damage and ensure accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and manage orders.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and report discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license (clean driving record preferred).
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
