Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and stack pallets of merchandise accurately to ensure inventory integrity.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a secure workplace.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse aisles to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in inventory counting and stock rotation as required.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFPO) license or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
- Proven experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Basic computer literacy for logging work hours and scanning barcodes.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Clean driving record and background check clearance.
