Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Verify and count inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and storage organization.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (must be present at time of hire).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and scanning.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
