Responsibilities
- Operate electric and diesel forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance and proper functionality.
- Move pallets, skids, and heavy loads to designated storage areas or shipping docks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by checking stock and logging data into the WMS.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification (we provide training for the right candidate).
- Basic reading and math skills to read pick tickets and labels accurately.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
