The Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that inventory moves smoothly and safely through our facility. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to work hard.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect forklifts for defects and perform routine pre-shift safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure pallets are properly tagged and organized.
- Follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift certification (we provide training for qualified candidates).
- Must be physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
