Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse and to delivery trucks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of stock movements and ensure proper organization of inventory.
- Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Work efficiently to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Experience: Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
