Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine safety maintenance checks before each shift.
- Ensure the accurate counting, staging, and organization of inventory according to production schedules and warehouse protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members regarding stock levels, delivery schedules, and potential hazards.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including packaging, labeling, and sorting of goods.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic reading and writing skills to comprehend safety labels, inventory lists, and operating manuals.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Previous forklift experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
