Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform daily safety checks on equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately counting stock and updating warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely shipping and receiving of orders.
- Follow standard operating procedures for handling hazardous materials (if applicable).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required for entry-level applicants.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
