Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe working order.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and locating stock in the storage areas.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and efficient warehouse flow.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- License: Valid driver’s license is preferred.
