Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials and products from trailers, pallets, and trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure all forklift operations strictly adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counting and stock organization.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding daily priorities and potential hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class 3, 4, or 5 preferred).
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a strong plus.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, Order Picker).
- Excellent physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
