Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move, load, and unload materials.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, stock, and organize stock in the warehouse to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure easy retrieval.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and minor maintenance checks on forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with speed and accuracy to meet delivery deadlines.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace at all times to prevent accidents and improve workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) and a forklift license.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to verify inventory counts and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
