Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials and products efficiently.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition and report any mechanical issues.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records in the warehouse management system.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Stack pallets and organize warehouse aisles to ensure clear pathways and prevent accidents.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with speed and accuracy.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed, including packaging and labeling.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (CFP/CFII) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and bending/reaching frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
