The Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is moved, stored, and tracked accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Inspect forklifts and machinery daily to ensure they are in proper working order and report any maintenance needs.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and safety records.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Counterbalance or Reach preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to safety.
