Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, order pickers) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Ensure all materials are stored safely and organized according to company protocols.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Verify accuracy of inventory by checking labels and tickets against shipment documents.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory management.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
