Responsibilities
Your day will involve ensuring the smooth flow of inventory through our distribution center. You will be responsible for the safe handling of materials using heavy machinery.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Counterbalance) in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently to meet shipping and receiving deadlines.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
