Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Order Pickers, Reach Trucks) safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Load, unload, and transport palletized goods to designated storage areas and shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth flow of materials and adherence to production schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate warehouse aisles.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math skills for inventory counting, and ability to read labels and shipping orders.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
