Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inventory Management: Verify and count incoming stock, organize inventory, and ensure accurate stock levels are maintained.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding warehouse safety and equipment handling.
- Material Handling: Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate daily tasks and workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required for warehouse shuttle duties.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
