Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping and organizing aisles.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure workplace.
- Perform inventory counts and accurate record-keeping of stock movements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA Certified Forklift Operator License required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, as well as pallet jacks.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and comprehend shipping orders.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
