Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely manner to maintain optimal warehouse flow.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and stock rotation to ensure product availability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Inspect equipment for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to achieve daily production goals and quotas.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hiring).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
