Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Perform thorough daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in designated zones to optimize warehouse flow.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators to meet daily shipping and receiving targets and deadlines.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including palletizing, wrapping, and labeling shipments.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating sit-down and reach forklifts.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
