Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets and heavy materials safely and efficiently through the facility.
- Load and unload trucks and shipping containers in a timely manner to maintain workflow.
- Inspect forklifts for maintenance needs, report mechanical issues, and perform daily pre-shift safety checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards and warehouse cleanliness policies.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations, traffic patterns, and company policies at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and ensuring accurate inventory records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient material flow and order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 or 30 preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proven commitment to safety.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
