Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Forklift, Pallet Jack) safely and efficiently to move inventory.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers in a timely and organized manner.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure machinery is in proper working order.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards).
- Verify accuracy of inventory counts and update warehouse management systems.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Assist in the packing and shipping of goods as required.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification.
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maneuvering in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory or operating handheld scanners.
