Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and move materials efficiently within the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area organized and free of hazards to ensure a safe environment for all staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFPO) or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
- Valid Class C Driver's License (must be clean).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for long shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
