Responsibilities
- Safe Material Handling: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials efficiently.
- Inventory Control: Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Picking and Packing: Retrieve orders from storage and prepare them for shipment with precision.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class 1, 3, or 4).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
