Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to safely load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging, organizing, and tracking stock placement.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris or hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including packaging and moving materials.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
