Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the Mesa facility.
- Inventory Management: Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and maintaining organized stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and inventory logs, with high attention to detail.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old to operate heavy machinery.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate a busy warehouse floor.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- License: Valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
