Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and ensure all safety guards and devices are functioning correctly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements into the management system.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is organized, clean, and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily productivity targets and shipping deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in the packaging and palletizing of goods for distribution.
Qualifications
- Current, valid forklift certification (Counterbalance or Reach Truck preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
