Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and logging movements into the warehouse management system.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and workflow goals.
- Handle merchandise with care to prevent damage and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the organization of storage racks and aisles for optimal efficiency.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating industrial forklifts in a distribution or manufacturing setting.
- Strong ability to read and comprehend safety manuals, operation guides, and shipping labels.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
