Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and proper stock placement in designated zones.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline the shipping and receiving process.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage and ensure workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class A, B, or C is a plus).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
- Valid Driver's License (for local driving duties if required).
