Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (reach, sit-down, and stand-up) to move, load, and unload materials with precision.
- Manage inventory by scanning barcodes, maintaining accurate records, and organizing stock in the warehouse.
- Ensure safety compliance by adhering to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, including pre-shift inspections and reporting any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload freight trucks efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent vision and ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and ticket verification.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required for qualified candidates.
