Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure all safety protocols and maintenance requirements are met.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to prevent workplace accidents.
- Clean and organize the warehouse floor to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping processes.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain one upon hiring.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or Pallet Jack) is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and tracking shipments.
