Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products with precision and care.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts, stock organization, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to maintenance immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe workplace for everyone.
- Shipment Handling: Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently, ensuring goods are secure during transport.
- Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse floor, aisles, and equipment clean and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing or logistics is highly desirable.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating machinery.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts immediately.
