Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately select merchandise from shelves and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets our high-quality standards before dispatch.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and conveyor systems as required.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the packing station, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Adherence to Safety: Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime if needed.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn warehouse management software quickly.
